We think that the development of the Web as kicked off by Tim Berners-Lee is pretty darn cool. His concepts behind URIs, HTTP and HTML are beautiful. Roy T. Fielding was able to understand the beauty of these ideas and add his own as expressed in his dissertation, Architectural Styles and the Design of Network-based Software Architectures. Lots of people are talking about Representational State Transfer like it´s something new.
Oh and Cool URIs don´t change! Seriously don´t do that.
